Tomb Raider Is Returning to PC
April 30, 2018 | By Anthony
Are you a fan of the Tomb Raider series? In case you didn’t already know, the third installment in the critically acclaimed rebooted series is arriving later this year on consoles. Much like when Rise of the Tomb Raider was released in 2015, there were no initial plans to release the game on PC. For gamers looking to join protagonist Lara Croft on her third outing, there is some good news to report: a recent article on PC Gamer suggests a PC port of Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently in the works! What’s more, the port is being overseen with Nvidia’s involvement and will include plenty of GeForce features.
In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft sets out on an expedition which brings her to Latin America as she searches for a Mayan relic that may have ties to her deceased father. However, a longtime nemesis is also looking to obtain the relic for its own potentially nefarious purposes. As in Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara will be able to craft materials, solve puzzles, and of course, explore optional tombs. Besides new abilities such as rappelling, there will also be a greater focus on stealth gameplay.
A PC release date for Shadow of the Tomb Raider has yet to be announced, but you can rest assured that once it’s ready, the visuals are going to look absolutely stunning on your gaming PC.
